Beginner classes are for students who have or have not practiced yoga before. Poses are thoroughly instructed and frequently repeated, and their contraindications as well as their benefits are explained. The classes begin with a warm-up, proceed into deeper poses to get deeper into the body and end with a cool-down sequence to calm and rejuvenate the body’s systems.
Intermediate (Level 2-3) classes are for those looking to take their practice to the next level. They combine a flowing vinyasa style with a stream of poses held for longer periods of time to build strength and focus. They utilize inversions and balancing poses, but modifications are given to students who prefer alternatives.
Advanced classes are for students who have a thorough practice. Students will be taken through multiple sun salutations with arm balances, inversions and excursions deep into specific poses scattered throughout. Whilst the classes are geared toward experienced students, all are welcome to experiment and explore them.
All Levels (Mixed) classes are dynamic classes that offer adaptations and variations to accommodate mixed ability levels in class. These classes move at a swifter pace than beginners and aim to promote growth in postures. Beginners with a basic understanding of yoga are welcome.
