Tai Chi and Bellydance Instructor
Lisa is the director and head instructor of Native Moon Universal Arts. She has been a student of Tai Chi Chuan since 1994. Lisa began learning the Yang Style Short Form from her husband, Robert Thompson. Since that time, Lisa has studied the Yang Style Long Form, Tai Chi Fan Form, and Tai Chi Sword Form. In addition, she has studied various Qigong forms and meditation. Lisa has been teaching Tai Chi since 2002.
Along with teaching the Yang Style Short Form, Long Form, and weapons forms, Lisa also teaches various Qigong forms, including Eight Pieces of Brocade. Each class includes stretching and joint opening exercises, as well as fundamentals of balance and motion. Lisa teaches beginners and advanced classes.
In addition to her Tai Chi and Qigong practice, Lisa also teaches Belly Dancing. She has studied both Cabaret and American Tribal Styles since 2001.
