All classes are 75 minutes unless otherwise noted.

Pre-registration required for six week series classes. All other classes are on a drop in basis.

All Levels
A dynamic Vinyasa class that offers adaptations and variations to accommodate mixed ability levels in class. Moves at a swifter pace than beginners and aims to promote growth in postures. Beginners with basic understanding of yoga are welcome.

Yogi Happy Hour
Join the crowd at Shakti for this one hour all levels practice. Replace your Martini for a Sun Salutation and unwind from the week as you energize for the weekend ahead. Happy Hour Special- Only $10 drop-in or use your class card!

Beginners Flow
This is a beginner’s class designed to teach students a rhythmic flowing practice. Through constant rhythmic movement of body and breath , one falls into a meditative flow. The class will focus on linking postures (asanas) with breathing exercises (pranayama), while emphasizing the foundations of yoga, body alignment, physical conditioning, and mindfulness.

Kids Yoga and Meditation (ages 6-12)

Cost: $14 drop-in or 6 classes for $65

An advanced kids class for those who have been practicing yoga for a while or for those who are interested in finding a quiet space. Kids will learn to be aware of themselves from the inside, both physically and emotionally. They will learn techniques for calming themselves down and focusing. [45 min.]

Restorative
Whether practiced for ten minutes at home or in this lazy evening indulgence, learn to hold the poses longer with deep pranayama (breathing exercises) to cleanse the mind and body of the chaos of the material world. Rejuvenate, relax, and remember the true essencece of your soul- which is timeless. A class of philosophy, improvisation, and hands on adjustments. Lighten up and restore!

Rise & Shine
Greet the day with a glorious Vinyasa class to awaken body and spirit. Center your mind, body, and spirit as we explore asana (postures), pranayama (breath), meditation and chanting- integrating various styles of yoga to create an invigorating yet calming experience. Class is appropriate for intermediate students and beginner students with some experience.

Shakti Rhythms
Come explore the flow! This class focuses on integrating breath and movement, awareness and alignment, strength and flexibility. Linked to a dynamic flow, postures are connected through the breath for a transformative and balancing effect. Interweaving music, yogic philosophy, meditation, and breath work with invigorating yoga postures, this fun and comprehensive class inspires students to experience yoga not only as a physical exercise, but as a lifestyle for body and mind integration. This is an advanced class that moves at a quicker pace and incorporates more advances postures.

Vinyasa by CandleLight
Join us in the evening to enjoy the beauty of yoga. Center your mind, body, and spirit as we explore asana (postures), pranayama (breath), meditation and chanting- focusing on creating a flow of energy between breath and movement for a revitalizing yet calming experience. Class is appropriate for intermediate students and beginner students with some experience. A cool breeze, soft music, and candlelight make this a not to be missed experience. Come bliss out!

Namaste Mommy (Pre/Postnatal Yoga) 6 Week Series (Pre-Register)

Cost: $90 **(A note from your OBGYN is required to take this class).

Come and discover the sacredness of the mother and child bond. Women of every fitness level and trimester are welcome to practice asana (yoga postures) that are safe and enjoyable for mother and baby.

Expectant mothers will benefit from increased strength, flexibility, and confidence gained from practicing prenatal yoga in a safe, and supportive environment.

Each class will focus on preparing the body for childbirth by stretching and strengthening all the muscles involved in the birthing process. Classes will also focus on deepening your bond with your baby through breath, visualization, and deep relaxation.

Namaste Baby (0-6 Months) 6 Week Series (Pre-Register)

Namaste Baby© Mom/Dad and Infant Yoga! Join us as we explore the wonder of the parent and baby bond. You'll learrn to increase not only body awareness but life awareness as a whole. We seek to enrich and strengthen both physical and spiritual bonds of baby with Mom and/or Dad. In addition, this time together helps build a lasting foundation for strong and deep communication.

Parents will learn how to assist their babies reduce stress and anxiety from outside stimuli, improve digestion & ease gas pain and colic, sleep better, stimulate neuromuscular development, and boost the immune system. Just to name a few of the wonderful benefits Namaste Baby!© Babies will assist their parents to feel more comfortable and secure with their new parent role by exploring touch and movement and reinforcing the sacred heart/soul connection. Parents will experience a gentle yoga practice with breath work and will be shown some helpful relaxation techniques (which every parent could use). We look forward to sharing this wondrous journey with you and your baby!

Therapeutic Yoga

This is a gentler and more slower paced practice to make yoga accessible to people of all ages, sizes and fitness levels. This class for those dealing with injuries, chronic pain, weight issues, illness, depression and anxiety or those who just want to take it slow and easy. A good place for beginners to start. Join us to increase your strength, flexibility and mobility at a gentler, easier pace. Focus on your unique needs, working at your own level of ability, while helping to relieve stress and nurture you body, mind and spirit. This class creates an atmosphere that provides safety and comfort, that fosters self-acceptance and self -love.

Martial Arts Program
An 8 week program for women only. Classes are held once a week for one hour on Tuesdays. Classes are forming monthly and are limited to a small number, so reserve your spot today. (more info)

Level 1 (Beginner)
These classes focus on new students. A slower paced class with more description and commentary accompany the stretching and balancing postures. Beginner pranayama (breathing) will be focused on, as well as a basic understanding of asana (postures) and meditation.

Level 2 (All-Levels)
A dynamic class that offers adaptations and va r iations to accommodate mixed ability levels in class. Moves at a swifter pace than beginners, and aims to promote growth in postures. Beginners with basic understanding of yoga are welcome.

Level 3 (intermediate/advanced)
This class covers yoga poses and their variations in less detail than the other classes and includes some challenging postures. Poses are hel d longer than in the all-levels classes in order to increase strength, balance and flexibility. Go deeper into your yoga practice as you work at your own pace.
